Update Oct 12, 2014 , the phpads system is long dead, however we are using Ads by Google now.

Shoggoth.net is currently looking into generating revenue in order to offer to pay authors to write stories.  Nothing is carved in stone yet and it will probably be a month or two before we begin paying just so we can get some cash in the bank so to speak and we can all get acclimated to this new system (*shudder* accounting *shudder*).   Continue reading »

Tynes and Cook talk about d20 Call of Cthulhu

Nearly a year ago, Wizards of the Coast announced its plans to publish a d20 version of Call of Cthulhu, the cult classic game of eldritch horror put out by Chaosium, with game designers John Tynes and Monte Cook behind the wheel.
